“Solid pneumatics” look basically the same as regular pneumatics and perform pretty well. However they will have a tendency to spin out easier on any surface that isn’t packed down really well. They just don’t have the flex and grip of regular pneumatics.
I used solid pneumatics for years in a dirt floor shed and outside on gravel and occasionally sod. You will learn your limitations pretty quick, then get along just fine knowing where you can go and where you can’t. After buying a new forklift with regular pneumatics, I wouldn’t want to go back though. | |
