Went from a 24row JD box planter to a CCS about three years ago. We have filled planters with a seed tender for probably 7 years or so. I can't imagine going back to filling those stupid boxes, no thank you!! We have the weight distribution cylinders on the planter for when the tanks are full, so I've never noticed any extra compaction in the middle rows. If you get enough corn in the tanks, you can plant all day!
