North central North Dakota | It has been 10 years and I still have not put on the protection dome on my units. They are running good. 1.3 mile Only problem I had was bracket broke on the one unit when too much snow slid off roof and broke it - been good for 8 years now. Also easy to see signal strength form the ground with them uncovered (see photos)
