| My wife and I laid in several bottle kids last winter. I built a new 3 ton stuffer on a set of running gears that I could pull out when the feed truck comes. Didn’t require much work on a daily basis so I thought I would just let them grow. I usually try to sell around 90# but I lost track of them. Tried to move them in late October direct to a packer and just missed a holiday. Finally got them moved today. Heaviest cut went 106# at $2.50. Had some 95# bring $2.75. Glad to get them moved. We feed a custom pellet and it’s just a notch below show feed. It was getting pretty costly at a ton every two days and the declining feed efficiency at the heavier weight.
