Northern Illinois | I’m currently looking to buy my first farm 25 acres with 18 tillable, it has a small sloped cattle barn on it that the alley feeds into a 1/4 acre dug lagoon. The realtor doesn’t know much about it but says it was pumped out and only has rain water in it. What are something I need to look at and consider before buying? Have never really dealt with lagoon before only hog pits and things like that so just trying to cover myself and get opinions before I get to far down a rabbit whole and money pit.
