My neighbor custom feeds about a 1000 head of Holsteins. The owner of the cattle has contracts to get a lot of screenings. He mixes screenings with ethanol plant syrup and brings them to my neighbor to feed. They feed about 7# per day of the screening syrup mix. The pile of that smells great and reminds me of adding molasses to feed.
