Subject: RE: Towing JD750 drill

SE wisconsin
20 years ago I bought a 15' with a drawbar hitch from a jockey. I had a new 350 super duty that I had moved mountains with. It was 50 miles from home. I got there and it needed to be jacked up(I thought the jack was broke). He came over with the forklift and tried to lift it with the one fork and nearly snapped it. We used a chain and lifted onto the trucks drawbar. It wasn't going to stop going down I don't think. We had the axle on the stops before I gave up and payed him to haul it on his drop deck. I have since added more leafs to the springs but I have not tried that again. (Many other stupid things) but I wouldn't do it with anything less than a semi tractor with one of those hitches.
