West Union, Illinois
I've read a couple stories discussing vitamin D and vitamin D-3 and the relationship to SARS-CoV-2 aka Covid-19 (the one linked below is pretty academic). It got me thinking, how many of the people I am familiar with that Covid has really hit that don't get out in the sunlight a lot? And how many that have tested positive but show few symptoms do spend a lot of time outdoors ?
There are of course anomalies. For instance a young area farmer that spends a LOT of time outdoors has hit pretty hard. But on the other hand he is diabetic and the last I heard he has not been hospitalized.
Then there's the older couple that have been very cautious wearing masks and such. They don't get outdoors a lot. Both are hospitalized.
I'm not saying vitamin D is a cure. But it makes you wonder if taking a vitamin D supplement might not be a good idea?
