Subject: Boron on corn?

West Lafayette IN
Last year I had some tissue samples come back low on Boron (5-7 ppm). I had someone tell me that Boron is water soluable and could have been low in 2008 simply because of all the rain. They went on to tell me that with normal rain fall in 2009, my Boron levels should replentish through mineralization. I am a wondering if I should apply Boron with starter 2X2 or hope that my agronamist is right.
