The SF forums is a reference to Successful Farming magazine forums at www.agriculture.com. Most all the "old-timers" on here came from SF. That is where the "New" in NewAgTalk comes from. I don't know if it was Meredith or Successful Farming, but Management made some mistakes in managing their forum and in response these forums were born. Almost all the frequent users left there for here. Many of us still visit and post there, but NewAgTalk has far surpassed them in use and reputation.
