I live in central Illinois and the forecast for next week is warm and dry. Just tonight the new weather models updated and they are telling us now that the next week (last week of April) will be cold and wet.
That could greatly influence planting progress. If this comes to fruition it could be early to mid May before corn is planted.
With the soaring soybean markets this could mean a shift from corn to soybeans.
