| Was out burying some stumps today on a grove we took out. Hit frost about a foot down and about a foot thick. Check some other spots any where from a foot down on the bare ground to two to three feet down in the corn stalks. Not a big surprise plant corn on the frost most years but, with the wet cool spring we are having, we'll probably start middle next week on the sand and hopefully get some medium texture ground done after that. Heavy ground will be into May. No worries yet, but forecast don't sound favorable. Good thing 24r30 only need about 7 days good weather. Hows the rest of the country coming along. | |
