Might be a here thing but anything under a 50 mile haul and it was a 3% pencil shrink.
The difference between 2 and 3% isn't that much - - - like on a 45k# pot load its 450#.
With calves at $1.45 the shrink would run between $1300 and getting to $2k.
That would be on bawlers OR pre-weaned stuff.
