Great presentation by Dr Nadir Ali. Very technical but he sprinkles practical information within and brings it down to a level many can understand.

I have not found out my genetic makeup and probably will not. Since I am already diabetic I have to follow a low carb protocol to manage it with diet anyway so would not make any changes no matter what my genetic makeup.

Just over 50% of Americans are either diabetic or pre-diabetic according to one study that used fasting glucose, glucose tolerance or HbA1C as criteria. That study would not even catch the ones who are already insulin resistant but have not progressed far enough to meet diabetic criteria. Add those in and it is likely to be upwards from 80% of the population affected.

Note: source where I got the diabetic statistics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JLwUz5bc-w&t=411s
