| hRex's idea may work. I don't know about your particular brand of computer. I'm not saying you've done anything wrong in the way that you have used your computer. The main thing is that in general if Internet Explorer is totally locking up on you to where you have to give it the three finger salute, there are some more serious issues that the computer is having. Sometimes Windows just goes crazy and there isn't any reason for it. That's the nature of Windows which it appears you must know that since you've had a computer since hard drives were 40 megs.
As far as understanding the registry enough to be dangerous, I'm that way as well. That's why when my computer starts doing weird things, I just re-install Windows rather than getting myself in trouble with something that I don't understand. | |
