I have a flame engenering hitch (model b-100) on my 96 f 150. i moved the liscense plate to the side, and mounted it to the bumper. i made kind of an L bracked that it would bolt through on the back side of the bumper, and then welded that to the frame. has held up well so far. i only paid $200 for it last year, if you can find one at a farm and fleet of some kind it may be cheaper.
