Subject: smoking a turkey

yrs. ago I smoked a turkey on my Weber kettle grill, it turned out great!!
wanted to do it again this yr. and can't remember how?
I remember being told to use so many charcoal brickets, and to cook for so long, any one help me out here?
I want to use my weber kettle, so that's what I will need help with\

O yea I also remember I need to put a pan of water under the bird
