Not really. Most boosters are essentially repeaters that bring signal from outside a building to inside. And any signal strength gained is by having the outside antenna at a higher elevation and getting a stronger signal due to less interference of surrounding trees or
Buildings.


So if you could get a antenna high enough or on the other side of a physical obstacle between you and the tower you might get a stronger signal. A directional antenna rather then a Omni-directional antenna might help also. Boosters are sold with either and other styles can be ordered.

And the whole yard is out as the repeated signal isn’t that strong, couple dozen to couple hundred feet max. A neighbor has had a cell company field engineer/tech stop at his farm shop and claim his booster was causing miles of bad signal. Company man asked my neighbor to unplug his device.
