As big of one as u can afford. The gpm are what matter more than the PSI they told us. We got a 13 hp Karcher that puts out 4 gpm at 4000 psi and it is so superior to the 5-8 hp ones that you always see around. The engine is crappy tho, Honda makes awesome 5 hp engines but the larger ones seem to be hard to start and cantankerous
