Eastern Iowa | I bought a 760 scraper really cheap. After I ran it for a day I'd had enough fun. I built a dolly and pull it with a 180 hp MFWD tractor. I used a hyd. motor to power the paddle chain. It works so much better this way. Plenty of power, the 760 tractor had enough power for loading but not enough power to transport a load of dirt uphill on soft ground, Traction is also a big issue, those 75% wore out construction tires got no traction on anything other than dry hard packed dirt and I wanted to use it to repair waterways. | |
