| At a Farm Bureau meeting it was said that any vehicle over 10,000 GVW hauling anything in Illinois that could be taken out of state unprocessed (beans, wheat, corn),(corn for feed ground in state is exempt) would need a USDOT# and a UCR (United Carrier Registration). This includes hauling to a local elevator since that grain could end up out of state. It seems that no tickets had had been issued yet, but everyone stopped was given the forms to get the above items. Go to, http://www.ilfb.org/viewdocument.asp?did=14032 and read the pdf file for more information.
