Propane with a 3-stage mast. 16' of lift or so. We can get bean bags over the side of a semi trailer if we need to. Propane so you can run it inside the shop. Have your propane supplier set you up so you can fill the tanks using the bleed valve and keep two tanks around. Never have to worry about empties.

We bought a Caterpillar (Mitsubishi) 7000lb pneumatic this past winter. We use it all the time. It is a little too big at times inside the shop, but it was priced right. We were initially looking at 5,000lb machines and that is the size I think would be nicest.
