| My Dell XPS 15 has removable and changeable ram, wifi, ssd and some other things. I don't know about the XPS 13 for upgrade ability.
I saw a video with my XPS 15 and it showed the wifi, ram and ssd upgraded. I did not have to upgrade anything (might have been cheaper). At least on the older XPS 13s, there are screws (12-13, alot) so there are things that can be upgraded.
I have thought about getting a Microsoft laptop but they always come out not as powerful out as the Dell XPS.
I have my laptop for the next 5 years. (knock on wood).
