We grow pumpkins for our pumpkin patch and some wholesale pumpkins. When I first started this we had hay haulers working the area. When October rolled around they would load pumpkins loose in their truck to haul to Florida. I don’t know if anybody is still doing that now or not. We often loaded 1300 pumpkin on semis in those days.
