Correct. The Midwest is not a desert.
Neither is the Napa Valley where the rainfall is 2.5 times the maximum rainfall in what is considered a desert, why is wet winters (grass grows) followed by hot dry summers (grass burns) so hard to understand for some geography challenged geniuses.
