Agreed, I never said it was a stupid question. Just one that can cause a bit of bickering. Like others have said, it comes down to space, supply, demand, want/need. Cost. Two coops 7 miles apart may be vastly different in price. Is one located next to a feed mill? Is one on a rail line? It costs them money to move the grain also
