I definitely agree with you getting them IN the ground is always better. In my area we get a lot rain so that always helps. Another plus is I rarely get snow and our temps rise pretty quick so there is no real major frosts either.

I mainly thought it was funny that the seeds sprouted and started growing in a place that my dogs won't even touch. Hahahahaha!
