SC MN | Not uncommon. I have done this any time I have a soldier making his final flight on my aircraft. 19 years and never had a passenger stand up yet after making the P.A. There are still a lot of good people in this country despite what the news says.
My airline has a honor team specifically to load & unload soldier's remains. Family is always allowed on the tarmac if they wish. It will bring a tear to your eye watching the care & respect they give a fallen soldier. | |
