Subject: RE: Gleaner hyper mods

We just did just a few things this year to our R75 steep pitch helicals right behind rear conveyer and triangle piece. Also took
short helicals out on rear cage and put one in next to chopper called a corn blocker and extend the helicals into chopper area per some gentleman on here. Thank you btw. Also cut some of the flutes back on corn head. We are running 1230 corn head and 35 ft draper in hills around 1.7mph on green stems 50-70 bushel beans and same in 180 corn if we go any faster it overloads shoe but we were in 145 bushel corn going 2.5-2.8. mods worked good at those speeds we are less than a 2/3bushel loss, better than 2-3 last year
