the switch has gone bad on the 1/2". A friend had the same problem and sent it to a repair place in the Twin Cities. I called them and they suggested going direct to Milwaukee. Is the switch problem a common one? I use mine fairly often but nothing like a real Tech would.
Yes switch going bad is par for course. I go through a 3/8 impact yearly due to switches. Send it in and get it swapped for a new one. I have a back up 3/8 impact and grease gun bc when my two speed went out I got sick of using a hand pump |
