R6's we had some goofy stuff with spreaders, but since we went to a separate pump in 2010 we really don't fight that often anymore.

So, my first question would be have you tried recalibrating the adjustment knob? Second, how many times have you changed the hydraulic oil and not primed the spreader pump? That little thing likes to suck air and eat it's wear plates if not primed after a oil change, and that could explain the speed loss, it's losing oil flow after it's warm.

I have had a solenoid or two go bad, but hasn't been wide spread. I have taken the solenoid out, and put an o-ring plug in it's place to run the spreader wide open for a day or two to keep a machine running. That would tell you if it's your valve or pump, if it runs wide open all day without the solenoid in it.
