I would set the bats to throw it to the narrowest setting and return the spreader speed back to the fastest speed. I wonder if you aren’t throwing the chaff fast enough in the slow setting and it is building up on the pan and spilling off. I have a 35’ head and run in the fastest speed with the bats set to spread the farthest. It spreads very evenly
