Subject: RE: 2007 Chevy 2500HD transmission

North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast
My 06 Duramax quit and would not start. Hauled it to closest dealer and after week of sitting, it cranked and they said the only code was Low Rail Pressure indicating bad injectors. BS
Borrowed a code reader from buddy and after searching Duramax Diesel Forum for a while (Lots of post), I replaced batteries, installed a Filter Head and replaced the flexible fuel lines.
So far, so good.

Duramax forum is as good as AT to find the little issues that will become big if not corrected. 06 and early 07 Duramax are the best ones ever made, tranny wise. It is worth rebuilding the tranny after new truck shopping, unless you are a BTO and can pay that much for a new truck. There arent many used working tucks on lots these days.
