South Georgia | The "High DOP" means high dilution of precision. This issue would be related to the number of satellites the unit can see and the availability of the correction signal, which in your case is WASS. I would start by noting the number if satellites that the unit is tracking at the beginning of the day, after it has had time to get it'd fix. Also, note the SNR (signal to noise ratio) for the WASS correction signal. This should be a negative number somewhere between -100 and zero. The closer to zero the stronger the signal. When the unit begins to act up I would check all of this information again to see if you are losing satellites or losing your WASS signal All of this information is available somewhere in that menu system. Even though the coax and antenna are new, that wold still be where I start replacing parts. If you have another antenna, or a neighbor that has an antenna you could borrow, I would start there. | |
