Subject: suitcase weights? Or other ideas to add counterweight to a forklift

Alrighty, not advisable I know, but we need to add a little counterweight to a forklift. Suitcase weights are slick and take up only a small amount of space. Aside from that, I am open to ideas. We have a nice little hitch pocket we can fab some Ibeam into. I was thinking a little rack for suitcase weights, but they seem to be like gold and we could use as much as we can get. Probably 1000# or more so getting the weight cheap enough would be nice.
