I have had a few requests to post an update on my situation, so here it is for those that are interested.
I have completed 5 of my 8 rounds of chemo, and overall have been doing pretty well. The side effects have been tough at times, but with some fine tuning of meds, have improved. The symptoms that kept sending me to the Dr all but disappeared after the first round, which was a huge relief! My blood work numbers also improve each round, and I'm able to sleep well, and eat almost normally again. I've even gained a few pounds back that I had lost.
We are still planning on radiation after chemo, but we'll worry about that when we get there. They tell me it will be easier than the chemo.
I'm entering my off week, and am looking forward to harvest. I was able to do about 75 acres of beans for a neighbor yesterday, but ran into wet beans. Mine still need a few days yet.
