St. Claude, Mb, Canada | Run your rotor at about 350, and open the concave up to somewhere around 25-30. You will never thrash green pods with metal, it has to be done with other grain. This keeps everything in the rotor for longer and allows more grain on grain thrashing. If thats still not getting it, try slowing down in 50 rpm increments til you get to 200. Keep an eye on the chopper, if crop isn't coming out, stop immediately, it makes it harder to feed in and it can build up, and back up into the discharge beater. When that happens its a bad day. | |
