Livestock

The highest number of beef cattle, hogs, sheep and lambs is determined between April 16 to August 31, 2020. All breeding stock is excluded from this calculation. This quantity is multiplied by the number of payment limits for the farm times a rate per head of:

Beef cattle - $55 per head
Hogs - $23 per head
Lambs and sheep - $27 per head
For example, a hog producer had 18,000 head on hand and farms as a general partnership with 4 owners. They will qualify for $414,000 multiplied by 4 or $1,656,000. However, there is an owner limit of $250,000 so it will be limited to $1,000,000. If the entity was an LLC, the maximum payment would be $750,000.

The maximum that farm qualifies for is 414,000. All 4 cannot claim the 18000 head as theirs since they only own 25%
