Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | FSA called and had me come in to sign up for another government payment last week, I'd not even heard about it till they called.
It's the WHIP+...(Wildfires and Hurricanes Indemnity Program).
I guess it's because we had to much rain last year during the planting season ....figures out to more than $50/acre ($40+ corn-$60+ beans).
Am I the last person to know about this?
Now, I'll smile all the way to the bank (or when I get the payment notice all the way back from the mailbox) ....but when are they going to stop handing out money? |
