Doesn't work out to bad for me. Got $33/hd for cows and last falls calves with 1st one. Now I get $55/hd for last years calves and ones that were born by 8-31. Started calving beginning of August.
Is it not your highest inventory between those dates? So if you already sold last year's before you started calving you can't count both.
