Our soon-to-be deposed Gov Pritzker put part of my area on a lockdown a few weeks back because of some mathematical formula he had dreamed up. He said it wasn't punishment, but no one believed him.

I have to say, I have seen more "pushback" after his lockdown than before. More restaurants said "go to he--, we're doing business...". My personal view is now less mask wearing now than before his lockdown order. Yesterday he made an announcement that we are doing better & he is considering relaxing our "timeout" soon.

He enjoys the power trip obviously.
