Terril, IA | make sure your crop type is assigned to the varieties in the management tree. Precision planting 20/20 monitors dont create this information for whatever reason. Guys run into this problem every year.
Here is what you will do within SMS:
1. in the management tree go to the planting data and break the tree down to where you can see the hybrid name. (the software may want you to do a product conversion. In this case just tell it that there is 80,000 seeds / per bag)
2. right click on the hybrid name and click edit item.
3. In the product group drop down make sure "Grain" is selected.
4. in the product usage drop down make sure "Seed/Commodity" is selected.
5. in the product form drop down make sure "seed" is selected.
6. in the crop type drop down make sure "Corn" is selected.
Once all of this is complete hit "OK" at the bottom of the menu.
You will need to do this for all varieties you have planted for the 2020 season. Once you have completed this, re export your data and see what happens. | |
