Pierce county WI | So I first saw this golden a few years ago in the fall, and sometimes in the spring. I saw him last spring and haven't seen him since. Today I had to go get my dot physical done, and I saw him again. He was having lunch with a couple of bald eagles. The balds flew off, but he stuck around longer. They claim golden eagles winter here. I don't have any idea why they want to come here for the winter? I do know they do an upper Mississippi count every fall. They are like another 25% eagle of a bald size why. Pretty cool to see them!
