| I sent you an email with the info of a guy we have used in northeast Ohio. From my experience, Holsteins bulls will be cheaper in local Kentucky salebarns than the northeast. 1. You’re not paying someone to buy and truck them for you possibly even feeding them a few times. 2. There’s not veal buyers in Kentucky. At best guys are coming down from the north to take them back to the veal markets and need to leave a margin. It’s hard to justify prices veal guys can pay for bottle bulls to feeder out. Meanwhile, I had things setup to receive in a lot of different barns over a long period of time. You might be able to pencil out the high northeast prices if you needed to fill a barn all at once for health reasons.
