Subject: RE: kinze vs caseih planters

Lottsburg VA
In va on my clay soil the case planter wouldn't plant in any not till condition and close the row. The planter also only lasted 60ac per row before openers, shoe and firming point were completely worn out. I have not a kinze and a Deere now, I like the Deere in soybeans better because it doesn't run over planted row and I get a better stand on those four rows. The kinze will do a better job of singulation in both beans and corn. They each have plusses and minuses, but I will never own another early riser. Keep in mind this is on my farm and plenty of people get by just fine but it didn't work for me. Case 1250 is what I had.
Deere 1795
Kinze 3660
