Subject: RE: house shower cleaning help

NE Nebraska
There's a video I found online that I tried a few weeks ago that really worked. Mix 1 cup water, 1 cup Dawn dish soap and 1 cup vinegar. Heat slightly in microwave and put in a spray bottle and spray down the shower and walk away for an hour. Then get ready to scrub with buckets of water and/or shower running. I initially thought I'd ruined my shower and moreso the satin nickel shower controls because I got busy and waited several hours and it dried on! It was almost like the Onyx and faucet were pitted. But it was just the soap buildup had loosened and then dried. It took some elbow grease but it cut through the sludge and cleaned up well. Now I try to wipe it down after each shower with "Mr. Siga Ultra Fine Microfiber cloth for Glass" available on Amazon. Things are pretty shiny!
