Could you talk to your friend and tell him what your thinking and see if he would either cut yours earlier or see if he would mind if you would check around for someone else? You don't want to make an ultimatum to him like either cut mine or else but you do need to watch out for yourself too.
I guess if he gets too fussy about it you will just have tell him you can't take the risk of leaving them wait. |
