Subject: I-states road trip, question about Olney Illinois area?

South Ga
I spent last night (Saturday) in Olney, I left today going north on Illinois 130. I saw l lot of what I assume are oil wells in random spots along the road. Where does the oil pumped from the ground go? Are all the wells hooked to a pipeline and it’s pumped off to somewhere or is it pumped to those black steel tanks in places along the road then picked up by a truck?
Fascinating area, I went all the way to Urbana on 130 going about the speed limit because I was just sightseeing and nobody tailgated me at any time.
I can’t believe how much corn and soybeans I’ve ridden past the last two days.
I’m on the way to Farmall Land. Staying in Avoca tonight, going to sightsee the local area, check out Farmall Land Tuesday morning then head back home.
