SE Iowa | a shower came out of nowhere after dark last night and added another inch to the rain total so now have had 9 inches for the week, mainly in 6 events, after only .25-.3 for August. July 30 1977, the day I got married, we were in a drought and 100 degree heat. Came back from honeymoon to 9 inches of rain for the week while we were gone. Remember combining in the mud with a 2 row head, 25 bu corn on one farm and 125 bu corn on another farm 3 mi south, same hybrid planted a day apart. I believe it was Funk's G-4507?
