S.E. Iowa | Today I cut up a tree that I cut down this spring. I put it on the concrete in front of the barn. I got 20 heifers that I call in every night and feed them a bucket of corn. Early tonight we roasted hot dogs on the coals of the brush fire. I let the calves in to feed them, they eat, and come around the fire. When I left them there was 7 facing the fire all seemingly enjoying them selves just soaking it up. If only they could roast themselves some marshmallows.
